Health policy experts who have followed and studied the State Children's Health Insurance Program since its inception will offer their views on reauthorization proposals before Congress during a news conference and policy briefing this Thursday at 10:00 a.m. on Capitol Hill.

Please join us to hear perspectives on current proposals and their implications from experts affiliated with the think tanks, including Bob Helms of the American Enterprise Institute, Gail Wilensky of Project Hope, Eugene Steuerle of the Urban Institute, Michael Tanner of the Cato Institute, Steve Entin of the Institute for Research on the Economics of Taxation, Grace-Marie Turner of the Galen Institute, Nina Owcharenko of The Heritage Foundation, Jim Frogue of the Center for Health Transformation, and others.

SCHIP reauthorization has become a pivot-point in the debate over the future direction for health policy reform. Experts will briefly summarize their ideas and analysis of various aspects of SCHIP proposals and will take your questions.
