The health care quality management and outcomes movement in the United States is under-going radical transformation. These changes create numerous pressure points, both positive and negative, for a wide range of health care stakeholders including payors, providers, patients, and administrators. In large part, the challenge is to determine how best to evaluate and document the success of these clinical, financial, and technological initiatives.
