On Wednesday, Sept. 30, The Benjamin Rush Society will host a debate at George Washington University on the following topic: Is it the Federal Government’s Responsibility to Provide Health Care for All Americans?The debate will feature Mandy Krauthamer, M.D., Executive Director of Doctors for America, and Igor Volsky, Health-Care Researcher and Blogger for the Center for American Progress, arguing for the motion. Arguing against the motion will be the Honorable Michael C. Burgess, M.D., Congressman, 26th District, Texas, and David Gratzer, M.D., Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research.
