June Highlights
A look at Galen Institute activities in June 2010
Impact
While the nation was focused on oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, the White House and its allies have been pouring tens of millions of dollars into a public relations blitz to re-educate the American public about ObamaCare.
With our exclusive focus on ObamaCare and health reform, we continue to use every communications tool available to explain the real facts about the effects of this massive health overhaul on the country and our health sector to counteract the massive White House campaign. The public deserves to know what experts are saying about the broken promises of ObamaCare: the soaring budget deficit, rising health costs, higher taxes, and rationing of care.
This report highlights our conferences, speeches, commentaries, media appearances, videos, podcasts, social media, weekly newsletter, videos, and other communication work in June to spread our message to the public. We simply cannot cede the battlefield to the White House and its allies. Rest assured, we are staying in this fight until we get to the right kind of health reform that puts doctors and patients, not government bureaucrats, in charge of health care decisions.
